What is Facebook Pixel?
Facebook Pixel is an analytics tool that allows you to measure the effectiveness of your advertising by understanding the actions people take on your website.Key Benefits

Getting Your Facebook Pixel ID
- Log in to Facebook Business Manager
- Navigate to Business Settings → Data Sources → Pixels
- If you don’t have a Pixel, click Add to create one
- Enter a name for your Pixel (e.g., “Hosting Platform Pixel”)
- Enter your website URL
- Click Continue and then Set Up Pixel
- Copy your Pixel ID (15-16 digit number)
- Paste the Pixel ID into your platform’s Facebook integration settings
- Save the configuration
One Pixel Per Business: You only need one Pixel per business. The same Pixel can track events across multiple domains and campaigns.
Tracked Events
The platform automatically tracks the following Facebook Pixel standard events:Standard Events

Event Parameters
Each event includes valuable data:- Value: Transaction amount (for purchases)
- Currency: Currency code (USD, EUR, etc.)
- Content Name: Package or product name
- Content Category: Product category
- Content IDs: Unique identifiers
Automatic Tracking: All standard events are tracked automatically once you configure your Pixel ID. No additional setup required.
Using Facebook Pixel Data
1. Conversion Tracking
View Conversions:- Go to Facebook Ads Manager → Measure & Report → Events Manager
- Select your Pixel
- View tracked events and conversions
- Analyze conversion data by time, device, and source
- In Events Manager, click Aggregated Event Measurement
- Configure your domain
- Prioritize conversion events (up to 8)
- Set value optimization for Purchase events
2. Custom Audiences
Create Remarketing Audiences:- Go to Audiences in Business Manager
- Click Create Audience → Custom Audience
- Select Website as source
- Choose your Pixel
- Define audience rules:
- All Website Visitors: Everyone who visited
- Specific Pages: Visitors to certain pages
- Visitors by Time: Last 30, 60, 90 days
- Event-Based: People who completed specific events
- Visitors who viewed packages but didn’t purchase
- Customers who purchased in last 30 days
- Visitors who abandoned checkout
- People who registered but didn’t activate
3. Lookalike Audiences
Create Lookalike Audiences:- Create a custom audience first (e.g., purchasers)
- Go to Audiences → Create Audience → Lookalike Audience
- Select source audience (your custom audience)
- Choose target country
- Select audience size (1-10%, 1% is most similar)
- Click Create Audience
4. Ad Optimization
Optimize for Conversions:- Create a new ad campaign
- Choose Conversions as objective
- Select your Pixel
- Choose conversion event (Purchase, Lead, etc.)
- Facebook will optimize ad delivery for that event
