Builder Folder Update
What is Builder Folder?
The builder folder contains WordPress core files (wp-admin, wp-includes, and core PHP files) that are synchronized across all websites. This centralized approach ensures consistency and simplifies updates.
Update Path:
- From:
{SYSTEM_ROOT}/builder/wordpress-includes - To:
/home/*/domains/*/public_html/builder
Updating Builder Folders
- Click Update Builder Folders button
- System synchronizes WordPress core files to all websites
- Updates apply to:
- Template websites
- Client websites
- All WordPress installations
WordPress Core Download
Downloading Latest WordPress
- Click Download Latest WP Version button
- System downloads the latest WordPress version from WordPress.org
- Files are extracted to:
{SYSTEM_ROOT}/builder/wordpress-core/wordpress/ - Current system version is displayed after download
- Latest stable WordPress core files
- All default themes and plugins
- WordPress admin interface
- Core PHP files and libraries
System Version: After downloading, the system displays the current WordPress version available for deployment to websites.
Bulk Website Updates
Updating Multiple Sites
- Click Bulk Update Sites button
- Modal opens with list of all WordPress websites
- Select websites to update:
- Select All: Check all websites
- Select Templates: Only template sites
- Select Live Sites: Only client sites
- Click Update Selected button
- Updates process sequentially

For each selected website, the system:- Removes old
wp-admindirectory - Removes old
wp-includesdirectory - Copies new WordPress core PHP files
- Copies new
wp-admindirectory - Copies new
wp-includesdirectory - Preserves
wp-content(themes, plugins, uploads) - Maintains database and configuration
