Path: Administration → Settings (/settings) — Admin onlySettings uses a left sidebar navigation to switch between categories. Changes in most tabs take effect immediately on save.

Brand Name	Replaces “AreaWP” throughout the UI
Logo (light mode)	SVG or PNG, recommended 200×50px
Logo (dark mode)	Dark-mode variant
Favicon	32×32 ICO or PNG
Mode	`Text only` — replace text; `Full logo` — replace logo + text
Primary Color	Main accent color (hex)
Support URL	Link shown in the sidebar support link
Hide Version	Remove version numbers from the footer

Email (SMTP)

Field	Description
SMTP Host	Mail server hostname
SMTP Port	587 (STARTTLS) or 465 (SMTPS)
Username	SMTP auth username
Password	SMTP auth password
From Email	Sender address
From Name	Sender display name

Click Send Test Email after saving to verify the configuration.

Email Templates

Customize the content and branding of platform emails — welcome, verification, password reset, invoice, renewal reminder, payment failed, cancellation, backup complete/failed.

Licensing

License Key	Your AreaWP license key
Status	Active / Suspended / Expired
Domain	Registered domain for this license
Plan	License tier
Max Sites	Site limit from your license
Expires	License expiry date

Click Validate License to force a fresh check against the license server. Useful after purchase, renewal, or domain change.

License validation runs automatically every 6 hours. If the server is offline, the cached result is valid for up to 14 days.
